Organization
The Alliance supports the public interest and welfare through the combined efforts of The Alliance Board of Directors, key stakeholders and The Alliance staff.
Our Board of Directors is responsible for the organizational and operational policy of The Alliance. The Board is comprised of 20 elected members from regulatory colleges across Canada.
With direction from the Board of Directors, staff members perform day-to-day tasks that enable The Alliance to fulfill its key responsibilities, protect the public interest and serve its customers.
Together, the Board of Directors and staff:
- Administer a fair and timely Credentialling program and a valid and reliable Examination program
- Respond to request for assistance on issues related to assessing and examining competency
- Participate in projects related to the regulation of physiotherapy in Canada
