CAPR Learning Modules
NOTE: while this resource was created for the Written Component of the Physiotherapy Competency Examination, a similar format will be used for the Written Section of the Canadian Physiotherapy Examination. For this reason, the resource remains highly valuable.
The PCE Learning Module is a free resource. It features multiple-choice questions that closely reflect the style, language, format, structure, and clinical reasoning expectations of the PCE.
The module is mapped to the PCE Blueprint 2018. This enables clients to practise with material that aligns with what they can expect on exam day.
As part of each question, the PCE Learning Module explains why the correct answer is the best or most appropriate response, and why the other options are not. This provides clients with a meaningful practice and learning experience and enables them to become more familiar with the demands of the exam. It also addresses common challenges that clients face in answering multiple choice questions. The module is untimed and offers unlimited access. This allows clients to move through the content at their own pace and revisit items as needed.
The PCE Learning Module is intended for all CAPR clients in either the credentialling or examinations process. It complements the other resources available on the Preparing for the Exam page.
Access the PCE Learning Module
Step 1: Go to the Client Portal – sign in to your account
Step 2: Within your client profile, click on the ‘Apply’ tab, and then on ‘PCE Learning Module’ at the bottom of the page.
Step 3: Within the application
- Check the boxes to certify the statements
- Review the ‘How to use the PCE Learning Module’ information
- Click on ‘Start’ to begin.
