CAPR is excited to announce an expanded partnership with World Education Services (WES) as part of the new Comparability Pathway launching in October 2026.
WES is a non-profit social enterprise that supports the educational, economic, and social inclusion of immigrants, refugees, and international students in the U.S. and Canada. For more than 50 years, WES has been a leader in international academic credential evaluation, supporting individuals as they seek to achieve their academic and professional goals.
CAPR and WES have worked collaboratively for more than 20 years in supporting internationally educated physiotherapists on their path to licensure in Canada. Our expanded partnership enhances the applicant experience while maintaining integrity and reliability of CAPR’s credentialling process.
What this means for applicants
The expanded partnership is designed to make the application process simpler and more efficient by:
- Reducing duplication by eliminating the need to send the same documents to multiple organizations
- Lowering costs by reducing the number of times applicants may need to pay for additional documents from their educational institutions
- Streamlining the credentialling process to provide a smoother applicant experience
- Allowing CAPR staff to focus more on supporting applicants through the credentialling journey.
We’ll continue to share updates about document requirements for the Comparability Pathway as we move toward the October 15, 2026 launch.
