The Canadian Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulators (CAPR) is excited to launch a pilot of the new Canadian Physiotherapy Examination (CPTE)!
We’ve had an overwhelming response from internationally educated physiotherapists, and now we’re looking for more Canadian-educated physiotherapists to join in.
We’ve extended the pilot application deadline and increased the honorarium.
Pilot Date: Saturday, September 27, 2025
Location: Virtual
Time Commitment:
- 1-hour orientation webinar before the pilot (September 22, 2025 at 6p.m. EDT)
- 6 hours on the pilot date
- 10 cases with two examiners (2.5 hours)
- Break (1 hour)
- 100 multiple-choice questions (2.5 hours)
- 30-minute survey after the pilot
Honorarium: $500 for your time and contribution
Who Can Participate: Physiotherapists holding a full/unrestricted registration in Canada for less than two years.
Results and feedback are confidential and will only be used in aggregate form.
This is your chance to:
- Contribute to the development of a fair, modern, and effective licensure exam
- Help ensure that future physiotherapists are ready to provide safe, independent, competent care
- Add a meaningful professional experience to your resume
Don’t miss out on this opportunity to help shape the future of physiotherapy in Canada!
Interested? Complete the application by August 29, 2025.
