The Canadian Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulators (CAPR) is seeking experienced and dedicated physiotherapists to serve as members of the Exam Validation Committee (EVC).

Make an impact: Committee members play a critical role in safeguarding the quality and integrity of the Canadian Physiotherapy Examination (CPTE) by reviewing exam content, validating item performance, standard setting, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Support the profession: Your expertise helps ensure that CAPR’s physiotherapy licensing exam reflects current entry-level practice expectations and upholds fairness, and validity.
Professional growth: Committee members collaborate with peers from across the country, deepening their knowledge of assessment, psychometrics, and exam development processes.
Time commitment
- Approximately 14 hours per exam administration, combining independent content review and virtual meetings.
- Two-year term, renewable twice, for a maximum term of six years.
- Meetings are conducted in English.
- An hourly rate is offered.
Who we’re looking for
We are seeking a diverse group of physiotherapists with expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Experienced physiotherapists with clinical practice
- Recent graduates from an accredited Canadian physiotherapy program with two years of clinical experience
- Educators from PEAC-accredited programs
- Regulators working within Canadian physiotherapy regulatory organizations
- Physiotherapists with experience in assessment, psychometrics, or exam development
