Updated Information on the Use of Bank Drafts

We have noticed that an increasing number of international bank drafts are being rejected. If you are submitting your credentialling or exam application, it is important to remember that we will only accept bank drafts that are negotiable without charge in Canada. We also require these bank drafts to contain a Magnetic Ink Character Recognition Code as circled in the image below. If your bank draft cannot be drawn on a Canadian bank and if it does not contain a Magnetic Ink Character Recognition Code, we will not be able to accept your application.

Please refer to the credentialling guide and exam registration guide for further details on alternative methods of payment.
